This past November, we celebrated a peaceful U.S. election, a testament to the enduring strength of our democracy and the sustaining values of honesty and integrity. These values resonate deeply with our mantra, “Think Straight, Talk Straight”—a guiding principle that embodies clarity, truth, and action.

Former President Jimmy Carter's recent passing exemplified these ideals. Known for his unflinching honesty and servant leadership, Carter’s life was a remarkable example of straight thinking and straight talking. Whether as a statesman, peacemaker, or humanitarian, he consistently placed principle over politics, working tirelessly to advance human rights and foster global understanding. Carter’s unwavering commitment to truth and service inspired trust at home and abroad, proving that integrity in action can change the world.

As we reflect on this past election season, we are reminded of the freedoms that bind us as a nation and the responsibilities they carry. In honoring President Carter’s legacy, may we be inspired to think and speak with clarity and purpose, embodying the values of service and integrity he upheld. Let us strive to leave the world better than we found it, just as he so humbly did
