Saturday's assassination attempt on former President Trump has triggered a flood of emotions—shock, anger, sadness, and disbelief. This act, regardless of political affiliations, underscores the imperative for society to transcend violence. Fellow Alumni, we must hold true to our heritage of integrity and ethical leadership.

The digital era presents both opportunities and challenges, particularly in information dissemination. Misinformation can spread rapidly, impacting public perception and decision-making. Alumni, many of whom lead technological and media enterprises, emphasize the critical importance of leveraging technology responsibly to counteract misinformation and ensure the dissemination of verified content.

Transparency with clients and stakeholders is essential for building and maintaining trust—a cornerstone of ethical business practices. Businesses must ensure their operations and communications remain free from bias and misinformation. Alumni in leadership positions consistently highlight the necessity of upholding the highest ethical standards to foster and sustain this trust.

Leaders are stewards of societal values. Alumni advocate for fostering a culture where truth and integrity are paramount. By promoting honesty through corporate policies, community engagements, and personal actions, organizations can enhance their credibility and positively impact society.

We must lead by example and commit to "Think Straight Talk Straight" in all our endeavors. Upholding these values will enable us to contribute to a more informed and ethically sound society, ensuring that truth and integrity prevail in these challenging times.
